About our Client

The position is responsible for leading and managing a team of account managers to drive sales growth for the assigned market segment and key accounts in Korea. This role involves establishing strong, profitable relationships with key stakeholders, providing commercial leadership, and ensuring successful execution of the company’s sales strategies. Collaboration with internal resources and aligning the product portfolio with customer needs are crucial to maximize revenue in the region.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the business plan and sales strategy for the assigned market segment.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by providing strategic and consultative advice to support customer goals.
  • Lead, onboard, coach, and develop the sales team to meet overall business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain high-level strategic relationships with stakeholders at key accounts to drive product and solution sales.
  • Partner with internal teams to secure large or strategic sales opportunities.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews to ensure sales targets are met.
  • Drive CRM adoption and data accuracy within the sales team.
  • Oversee aftersales activities such as new product launches, customer needs management, and account assignments.
  • Work with technical support teams to provide product training to key customers.
  • Contribute to the annual strategic planning process in partnership with the Country General Manager.
  • Ensure customer feedback is effectively communicated across internal departments to enhance customer support.
  • Support Lean Sigma initiatives and comply with company safety and quality policies.


Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Bioscience, Biochemical, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of B2B technical sales experience, with at least 5-10 years in commercial team leadership roles.
  • Familiarity with Bio-Pharma relevant products and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in both Korean and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and the company’s product portfolio.
  • Proven track record in achieving or exceeding sales forecasts through strategic account planning.
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt sales strategies to focus on high-value opportunities.
  • Knowledge of competitors, market trends, and regulatory issues to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Resourcefulness and ability to navigate internal resources effectively for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong decision-making, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Credible executive presence with the ability to manage high-visibility situations effectively.
