About our Client

Position Summary

  • As a Customer Project Manager within our Marketing and Sales Team, you will lead projects focused on automotive environmental sensor solutions. Working in a collaborative R&D environment, you will interact closely with the global R&D team, Tier 1 automotive suppliers, and OEM customers to ensure project success. Your role will involve managing customer requirements, leading project schedules, and coordinating communication across teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead and monitor project progress, ensuring alignment with customer requirements. Proactively address potential risks and capitalize on opportunities for new technologies.
  • Customer Relations: Act as the primary liaison for customers, leading commercial tasks and guiding project solutions. Engage in frequent communication with customers to manage project goals and timelines.
  • Market Expertise: Maintain a strong understanding of the automotive industry, including OEM processes and development milestones. Knowledge of industry standards like APQP, ESIR/ISIR, and PPAP is essential.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with Sales, R&D, Quality, and Operations teams across regions (Korea, China, and Switzerland) to drive seamless project execution and integration.
  • Testing Standards: Develop a clear understanding of PSO development standards, assessing timelines for different vehicle models to ensure compliance and effective planning.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related field preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years in account management or project management within the Automotive industry, with a solid understanding of OEM and Tier 1 customer relations and roadmaps.
  • Strong proficiency in both Korean and English.
  • Knowledge of APQP, ESIR/ISIR, and PPAP processes. Familiarity with PSO development stage timelines across vehicle models.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience in coordinating efforts across multiple teams and stakeholders.
