Key Responsibilities
· Identify key markets/verticals and develop business opportunities to grow revenue.
· Help manage contract negotiations and agreements, with support from General Counsel and Finance, with associations and partnerships, as needed.
· Develop effective strategies to build brand awareness and gain access to decision makers.
· Generate, qualify, and nurture sales leads and build relationships with prospective clients and partners.
· Develop a comprehensive mapping of the local markets, including Total Addressable Market (TAM), Revenue opportunity, Key target clients.
· Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments in the market, providing insights and recommendations to inform sales strategies and tactics.
· Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive sales strategy for the Korea market, aligning with overall business objectives and market trends.
· Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty through effective communication and solution delivery.
· Develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including distributors, edtech, education groups, and government offices, to enhance market penetration and drive sales.
· Monitor sales performance against targets, analysing sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Key Requirements
· BS degree in Business administration, Education and/or related major and MBA or master’s degree preferred.
· Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in driving sales growth in Korea.
· Over 10 years of practical experience in education, certification, testing, data analysis, and edtech-related fields.
· Strong understanding of the Korea’s education market landscape, including key trends, customer segments, and competitive dynamics.
· Knowledge of product portfolio and ability to apply that knowledge in a solution approach to customers
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
· Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, able to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
· Leadership skills, with experience in leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
· Assessment, English language teaching, language learning, edtech experience preferred.
· Fluent English and Korean speaking & writing skills.
