About our Client
It is an organ of COUNTRY's Ministry of Tourism that is concerned with promoting travel and tourism industry of the country. (Since it does not have a legal entity in Korea, the hired candidate will work as a direct contract employee under its Korean agent, an administration outsourcing company.)
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and ensure successful relationship with key trade partners and top stakeholders (Tour Operators, Travel Agents, Airlines, hotels, associations and DMCs)
· Negotiate commercial deals with trade partners to ensure best return on investment.
· Establish and manage long-term relationship with stakeholders and identify opportunities for new partners.
· Negotiate commercial deals to secure set targets and KPls.
· Create and implement co-marketing agreements and partnerships with top trade partners to promote and sell the product through B2B channels.
· Regular monitoring & review of co-marketing partnership with partners as well as recommending changes if needed post alignment with market director.
· Support the implementation of the B2B commercial plan (roadshows, workshops, co-ops, fam trips, etc.)
· Plan and execute familiarization tours for travel agents, and tour operators.
· Track the effectiveness of joint marketing campaigns and report progress, findings and results to the HQ.
· Write & Proofread copy as well as liaising with designers & printers
· Ensure maintenance of internal marketing tools
· Handle Day to day marketing and branding requirements for the Tourism Board
· Ensure adherence to brand guidelines on communications
· Provide administrator support to the department to ensure smooth-running of operations (data entry, Weekly /monthly reports for trade and marketing activities, minutes of meeting, trade and marketing trackers and arranging appointments).
· Content creation, delivering of content (destination presentations, brand content, press releases, social media campaigns etc.) and manage the production of marketing materials, including banners, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters, brochures, along with social media posts)
· Assist in developing communication strategies for maintaining positive brand image
· Shall adhere to the environment health and safety policy/objectives and guidelines of the organization.
Key Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
· Over 5 years’ equivalent work experience
· Proven experience in trade management, preferably within the tourism or hospitality industry
· In-depth knowledge of trade event planning, logistics, and industry best practices
· Social media marketing experience
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
· Willingness to travel domestic and internationally as required.
· Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking, listening) is required. Proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
